I fell in love with Seth and Maggie from word one of the series in Unlovable.

Cole and Lilah stole my heart in book 2, Unbelievable.

And now . . . the whole crew reunites for the third and final installment of the Port Fare series, Unbearable.

Booker Gatto is done. Done with women, his old life, all of it. Only the love of his friends in Port Fare keeps him going as he leaves the MET in exchange for the quiet

life his new law practice will provide.

Tess Selleck, once as ambitious and determined as she is smart and beautiful, had to leave everything and everyone she loves in San Diego to escape the man who destroyed her dreams and now wants her dead.

Together Booker and Tess find love when they least expect it, until their pasts drive

them apart. Is there a happily ever after for these damaged lovers? Or is the thought of loving and trusting again simply Unbearable?

Booker’s led a hard life. Since childhood, he’s battled demons that torment his heart and soul. Memories. Regrets. Nightmares. Things no one should have to live with.

For years, he turned that battle outward as part of the MET, using it to help other the way he failed to help those who meant the most to him. But now he’s done. In search of some kind of peace, Booker leaves the MET behind, prepared to start over. But just because Booker is done fighting, doesn’t mean the fight is done with him.

Tess is a survivor. She’s suffered through hell and come out the other side. But the fight isn’t done with her, either. Hiding, lying, always looking over her shoulder. Tess’ life is no way to live, but it’s what she must do to stay alive. With the devil himself hunting for her, caution is the key to survival.

However, her new boss, Booker, makes her want to throw caution to the wind. Makes her want to open up and share herself—the real her—with him.

Does Tess dare take that risk again?

Does Booker dare to return to that dark place he worked so hard to try and escape from?

When the past brings the fight to their doorstep, will they be able to defeat those demons together—both external and internal—and finally earn that peace they’ve sought for so long?

I’ve been crushing hard on Booker since book 1 of the series and waiting, somewhat impatiently, to read his story. My expectations grew by the day and what I can tell you is, I was NOT disappointed. Unbelievable is a well-written, touching conclusion to one of my all-time favorite series.

I HIGHLY recommend all three books to anyone looking for a touching, heart-warming romance with a side of suspense.
